BRIM May Day for Homeschoolers

May 1 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Children dressed in 1800s-period costumes dance around a May Pole while holding ribbons attached to the May Pole. There is a pretty blue sky and green grass.
Join us on the 1800 farm as we go back in time and celebrate May Day! We will have a handmade May Pole, and students will make a crown of flowers to wear as they observe this special holiday. Younger students (5-8) will make kites, play traditional games, and feed the farm animals. Older students (9-15) will make a full-size broom (for spring cleaning) and learn how to blacksmith. Kids may wear their spring finery or dress in our 1800 period costume.
