We are so grateful to Geraldine Scott and her grandchildren, Chase and Kelli for making the Leo H. Scott Educational Pavilion possible. Since its construction finished in 2019, the pavilion has been host to craftspeople at the Blue Ridge Folklife Festival, quilt shows, field trips, Jack Tales shows, rag doll making, pumpkin decorating, elementary school graduation ceremonies, and even a wedding reception or two! The Leo Scott Pavilion is quickly booking up for this fall season between school field trips and events such as the Blue Ridge Folklife Festival and the BRIM’s 2nd annual Hammer-In.
